One Word for 2011

Well, it took until January 2nd, but I have my word and scripture for the year!

I actually had another word and scripture chosen, but this morning the Lord revealed His word for me. I would much rather cling to His choice than mine!

My word for 2011 is:

TRANSFORM

I feel so strongly that the Lord wants to transform every part of us. Mind, heart, will, spirit, physical body, emotions, and more! Once I got the word, the scripture was easy to choose!

Romans 12:2 (NIV)

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

"So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life - and place it before God as an offering. So fun! Plus, I must pick up this shirt I have been eyeing since I was first introduced to Wild Olive t-shirts.

I can't wait to see how this word impacts me in 2011.
